What are Essential Oils?
Essential Oils are potent aromatic compounds naturally found in plants. doTERRA extracts all of their oils from the purest plant sources so we know that what we are smelling comes directly from the roots, leaves, stems, flowers and other parts of the plants. These oils have been used for centuries in cooking, skin care, and health care practices.
How do they work?
Essential Oils are used for a wide variety of physical and emotional symptoms. Essential oils are carbon based, just like humans, so when we apply the purest oil, our bodies know exactly how to absorb it and send it to the area which needs healing.

How do you use Essential Oils?
Make sure to use only the best and purest essential oils. I stand behind and share doTERRA Essential Oils because they are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. You can use oils internally, aromatically and topically.
Internally: It must state on the bottle that the oils are safe for internal use and this is one reason why I use doTERRA. I love using a drop or two in water for a refreshing drink or in hot water for tea. I use oils like Lemon, Grapefruit, or Slim&Sassy (Metabolic Blend) for daily detoxing benefits.
Aromatically: A wonderful way to stimulate or shift our mood is diffusing essential oils. Diffusing oils helps clear and clean the air, bring us into the present moment, calm and sooth our nervous systems, and aid in a restful nights sleep. You can also add a drop of essential oils to the palms of your hands, gently rub your hands together and then inhale the oils for instant support!
Topically: Using essential oils topically is also extremely healing. Essential oils absorb into the body very quickly and different oils can be used on different areas of the body for greatest benefit. Diluting oils with carrier oils is recommended, especially for sensitive skin.
